Most Expensive Course By Far, But... Jun 08, 2008

...the content is well presented and extremely detailed for those who feel that they need such. Maybe almost too much to spend the time on to listen and go through...but that would probably dictate getting "value" some would argue. The Camtasia video presentation is commonplace in many people's presentations nowadays, but for those who like some video and audio instead of a book, it works. I can only go 4 stars though because the Excel worksheet macros/links were not set correctly, thus not working. Personally I didn't need it, but it would have been nice...I whipped together my own database in FileMaker Pro anyway. Although now for the price, you think they would work...? I could also slam this down because of the jacked-up price, but that's simply the free market dictating things; everyone is allowed to charge what they would like, because there will be people who pay for it.

Hello. Matt here again. Wanted to follow up in Probate RE and say this also on Ron's book due to character restrictions on the last review. Having a chance to read it, it wasn't the thing that got me interested in probate, as I took another course which I'll review on here. But every piece I read I get an idea out of it. Adaptation was the one here. I had to tweak, learn and adapt a couple of things to fit my country and figure out how it was run. This took me on a very part-time level about 10-12 weeks to figure out how I want to set up my system and pulling up backlogs of files (being I went down to the courthouse one, sometimes 2 days a week, and spent 2-3 hours/visit)...hey I do work still! So, it can be done. And again, out of all the probate courses available (which aren't many haha), start with Ron's if you're looking to go inexpensive and can't afford those higher-priced courses!
